Often called Snake Plant or Mother in Law’s Tongue. Perhaps the latter longstanding name may soon be disapproved of in our easily offended culture.

This is the latest addition to my growing succulent collection.

All the books say that this is the ideal houseplant for people who are lacking in 
“ green fingers “.  It will grow in almost any light conditions, doesn’t mind central heating and won’t mind if you forget the occasional watering it needs.
