Landmarks

Back blipping a little holiday with the Landmark Trust.
This is Knowle Hill which consists of the restored remains of a once quite stately home in South Derbyshire. Most of the accommodation is the upper story of a building which was added above a stable as a cottage in the 1760s. The living room is down some outside steps from the dining room and across a courtyard in part of what’s left of the grand house after the rest was demolished.
A remote, peaceful and picturesque place to stay. Steph and the nippers are with us till Sunday.
