A memory of bygone days

I wonder how many blippers remember Mabel Lucie Atwell postcards. When I was in my teens they were all the rage and you could always find a card with just the right words for most occasions.

This selection is part of a poster I spotted on the wall of a ladies' loo ..... it certainly brought back memories of the cards I used to send from Guide and Scripture Union Camps.

Postcards are almost a thing of the past. I don't send them any more preferring to use an online service like Touchnote where I can use my own photos as a card and delivery is usually within a couple of days instead of a couple of weeks.
