Jacqueline's aromatic honeysuckle on the street

Walking back to our car the fragrance emanating from the honeysuckle was astonishing. I walked over to the high hedge in front of our neighbour's front garden and looked closely at the flowers which were in various stages of of growth, from buds to completed flowers.

After dropping my shopping in our house I returned with a camera and took a few quick shots. The varied colours and shapes made me realise there were at least two different species of honeysuckle in the same hedge. I must take a few cuttings and plant them in our back garden near the cabin so we can enjoy the same scents at our leisure and not just when on the pavement.
