Common bird’s foot trefoil, aka 'Eggs and bacon'

Walking across a traditional grassland on the common I saw these pretty colours in the grass a few feet ahead of me. I was actually worried that I might tread on a skylark's nest as I could hear one occasionally and see them in the surrounding area. When I tried to focus and couldn't using my telephoto I realised that I had the focus range limiter engaged.

Once focus was achieved I did manage this image, as I wanted to record the colours.  I had to look up what these flowers are called, and was pleased to see that their nickname is 'Eggs and bacon'. I've heard this used for a plant's name but was never sure which one. I won't now forget it, I hope.
