Busy Bee

Spent most of the day in the garden with its wildly changing temperatures(aahh - must be British Summertime!!?) and took a few pictures late afternoon including some lovely ones of the local red kites. However this one that I have choosen today is the first that I have, close up and mostly in focus, of a bee hoovering just before landing on a flower.

This was one of the sharpest of the lot as I was using manual focus and he was moving really fast but hopefully I will nail this type of shot with practise.

I like the concept of macro - just wish I had the skill of some of the other blippers that I see on here :-)
