Youngsters

Today was apparently the day when this years young auks decided to reveal themselves!

Razorbills (at the south end of Shetland at any rate) do tend to find pretty inaccessible nesting holes, so I was delighted to get a glimpse of a young razorbill this morning.

Close inspection of photographs from this morning also revealed both jumplings (wee guillemots) and a very shy puffling (a wee puffin) - these are in the extras.
