Clematis

Down to Stockport this morning to see our son and grandsons.

Unfortunately the M6 was closed in both directions  early this morning and has only just opened northbound. A tanker full of milk turned on its side across the central barrier and spilt 20,000 litres of milk and lots of diesel.

We were lucky in that we were able to exit and avoided getting trapped.
But coming home this afternoon we had to chose a completely different route. Although it worked well the journey took twice the normal time.

We also called in to see some close friends and were pleased to enjoy the sight of this Clematis in their garden.
