Sunday: After the Rain

MrD and I woke up around 7am having had a good night’s sleep.

It was a very chilly morning, around 14°C with a stiff westerly breeze.

I had a few hours of family history and made a very interesting discovery about a young relative of Irish/Welsh descent from Liverpool who ended up on a naval training ship moored in the Menai Strait in 1902 … which brought back memories of Our Sailor as a cadet …

MrD went off to the mountains on his motorbike this afternoon and I went out into the garden, I picked some raspberries and found lots of interesting salad leaves to have with our Anglesey New Potatoes this evening.

Had a shower of very welcome rain around 7pm and forecast for more over next few days :-))

Watching “This Beautiful Fantastic” on iPlayer this evening - https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_Beautiful_Fantastic - I was a very unconventional child … being ordinary is overrated?!

Nos da pawb / goodnight all xx
