Order

Most things that go into the wash never have an iron passed over them. 

However I iron handkerchiefs and tea towels to sterilise them. 

And I always iron pillowcases so that I can sink into the aroma of ironed cotton when I put my head on the pillow.

And I do like a neat pile of freshly-ironed items. A sign that just occasionally I can bring a bit of order to things around me.

The south-westerly wind continues, albeit slightly less bitterly cold than yesterday. Bean and I have opted for another mainly-indoors day. Plus a walk of course.
