Life through the lens...

Hey Jude

Up early as we were expecting a little visitor this morning.
He came in, all smiles, and went straight to his box of cars.
How he has grownup in just a few weeks.
Mum and Dad were off to hospital for a baby scan. One which would tell them if it was going to be a boy or girl.
As it turns out Jude is going to have a baby brother in November. We just knew it was going to be another boy.

At the moment Jude is very happy playing with the cars. He also likes Thomas the Tank Engine and went to the find the book in the bookcase.
Now talking none stop although sometimes I’m not quite sure what he says!
He didn’t want to go home when his dad came for him. Kept saying “ Bye, bye Daddy”. Finally,  after he had put all the toys away, by himself, he was persuaded to leave by giving him a blue truck to take home.
Hopefully next time he comes we will be able to play outside as this morning it never stopped raining.
Such a joy to see him.
As great grandparents we do come in useful every now and again!

It brightened up after lunch, although very windy, so spent the afternoon in the garden. Dead heading, tying up plants and putting all the pots back in their right places.
Also finally got some washing out on the line. Hopefully will be almost dry by bedtime.
Still plenty more to do.

I did watch the last bit of the Le Tour . Unfortunately Mark Cavendish didn’t win the stage. I hope he makes that last stage win before the end of the race.

After record breaking June temperatures it has certainly turned colder. Only 13C this lunchtime. Hopefully will warm up again soon.
