Frieda's world

With Greek granny Liana back at home now, we're getting back into the swing of spending time with Frieda. I picked her up fro preschool, and we spent a companionable few hours together. At just coming up to 4, she loves creating miniature worlds with whatever is to hand: a few Playmobil figures; the nesting doll from New Zealand, a present from my stepson Nik some years ago; a toy dragon.
Later, Jack and Marianna and Simone came to pick Frieda up. We had an impromptu meal together, fortunately there was a large pan of Richard's delicious chicken and lentil soup on the cooker. Simone is almost 4 weeks old, and is getting more alert by the day.  She's gone from being a sleepy and tentative suckler to really making her feelings known when she gets hungry :-)
