Forest dweller

I took myself out for a walk in the forest today to get over the culture shock of yesterday's shopping village experience! I was pleased that I could identify some butterflies with my new found skills and a handy app on my mobile phone, thanks again Swarnog

Today's picture a Small Tortoiseshell, I also spotted Meadow Browns, a Painted Lady, Red Admiral, Tree Bumblebees, White Tailed Bumblebees and a single Honey Bee. Oh and a Green Tiger Beetle to top things off. I don't think that's too bad for a complete beginner at this sort of thing. 

Anyway I really enjoyed today and getting back into photography, can't believe how much I've forgotten over the years.
