Life on the go

ENS Abu Simbel

Today Sue and I were visiting Crosby to see the ‘Gormley Iron Men’ (aka Another Place) and we noticed an interesting ship being towed out of Liverpool by two tugs. I took this shot and found the ships name was ENS Abu Simbel.

We googled that name and found out that just under a year ago on Sunday, July 17, Ship Fort Rosalie, now was seen being towed by tugs across the River Mersey to be renamed ENS Abu Simbel.

Not sure why it was out today being towed and where it was going.

We only saw the top half of a half a dozen Gormley Iron Men as it was high tide while we were there!!
