Hot Hot Hot

Yes, I know shots of TV are verboten but please don’t report me because this forecast was screaming to be blipped. For reference, 107°F translates to 41.67°C and 111°F is equivalent to 43.9°C. I think most people would be happy if those overnight lows were the daily highs!

By law, forecasts after 1 July must have at least a 10% chance of rain every day. Well, it’s not a law, but it proves that the NWS has a sense of humor :-)

How’s this for irony: the call letters for this TV station are KOLD.

It’s so hot that chickens are laying hard boiled eggs.

It’s so hot that my thermometer goes up to “Are you kidding me?“

It’s so hot that global warming has been replaced by global melting.
(This one is pretty accurate)

It’s so hot that I bought a loaf of bread and by the time I got home it was toast.

It’s so hot I saw a bird pull a worm out of the ground wearing an oven mitt.
