Lest We Forget

We're on our way up to Sheffield to see S, N & M.  It was in our mind to stop off at the National Memorial Arboretum for a decent look round.  Things being what they were with a mixture of later-than-planned departure and an unexpectedly early closing time, we only had time for a very quick look round, but worth the time and we'll plan for more time next time.

The site has one central Armed Forces Memorial (pictured) and a substantial number of smaller, specific memorials.  

The extra is of the Quaker one, particularly remembering those who gave their lives in the Friends Ambulance Service and Friends Relief Service.
