Driving

Today we drove all the way from London to the Lakes District. The drive itself was fairly uneventful, I don't think Jane really enjoyed it but I found it a good chance to rest a bit. We're staying at a lovely bed and breakfast with beautiful old rooms. 
We did go out for an eventful dinner however. New quote of the holiday from Dad: "I just headbutted the beer!"
