Flat Squirrel

When it gets hot, the squirrels get flat.  It is commonly called "splooting", flattening out on a cooler surface to disperse body heat.  Squirrel Nutkin is doing her splooting on a branch of Auntie's Tree.  Although our temperatures have moderated a bit, it is still hot and very humid.  An unsettled week ahead with on again, off again thunderstorms and, I suspect, more splooted squirrels!  Gift#189: slightly cooler temperatures.
