A day in the life

By Shelling

Time

Sunday. It's been a hot summers day and not much has been produced, apart from woodchopping of course, which will go on for another good while. My pile of firewood, that was gathered in the winter, didn't look like much in log-shape but chopped up, it will last med the winter, I'm sure.

I've played around with one of the large rocks that has been lying about here since the last ice-age, putting a rather spectacular root of a tree on top of it makes it look like something else, a sculpture of kinds perhaps. I'm getting used to it now, it's right in my view from the kitchen window and the terrace. I think they look quite nice together, two aspects of time and age.
