A view from St Swithin

Morning walk

We’d a walk south from Comrie along the Water of Ruchill this morning. There’s a good path along the river and there were plenty of opportunities for the dog to have a dip. For the start of our walk we were accompanied by two red kites - there seem to be plenty of them in this part of the world. A really graceful bird in flight.
It’s mostly arable land these days but close to where the chief is posing was a Roman camp, and there was a much larger one at Braco about 10
miles south of here.
