Croft Castle, Herefordshire

SUNDAY

A drive over to Wigmore in Herefordshire for a barbeque and catch-up with Steve and Lesley - our former neighbours from West Yorkshire.

En-route we stopped off at Croft Castle  (blip) - a castellated 17th-century manor house which has been home to the Croft family for many centuries, including present day. The house is under the guardianship of The National Trust.

In the evening we made an incursion over the border to Newtown, Wales to see Indiana Jones and the Dial of Destiny at The Regent Cinema.
