I let Hetty have her weekly icecream this morning. They all know her at the Caen Hill cafe and enjoy her delight and excitement on icecream day.

After our walk, we went straight into the cutting. 

I am inundated with self seeded oxeye daisy plants so have replanted lots on one of the banks. 

Then, I tackled the sedge. I need to remove the flower heads as soon as they appear but it's an almost impossible task. At least it keeps me fit.

I've had lunch so it's back to the garden.
