Going home - via Chester

We had breakfast in the Hotel then set off before 11 am and drove to Chester for a nosey.
What a beautiful city that is!
We had coffee, walked the city walls and then a bit through the streets to get an ice-cream.
We made it to the car before the sky burst and the rain started.

The way home felt long and the weather was dreadful at times.
We stopped at Tebay for a coffee and then managed the last 2 hours.

We were home at 8-ish, unloaded the car and vegetated in the kitchen before falling into bed.

The busker on the photo was really good - gave me a big smile on my face.
