Leaving Las Vegas - to Kanab

Early rise - we both went out for coffee at Linq Starbucks then back 
back for packing.

Took an Uber to airport to pick-up the car
We got to choose the colour and went for this red brand new Mustang - so new that it did not have a licence plate ...

We stopped at the whole food store before heading out of town towards Kanab and Zion National Park.
We were the only idiots on the highway with an open convertible .... at over 40 degrees is not a smart idea and we stopped at a lay by to close the roof and continued driving towards Utah.

Stopped on the way for coffee …. unfortunately Starbucks again as we did not pick a good place ...

We drove to Zion, got the national park card, stopped at the visitor centre and got map.
The landscape is amazing ... see extra ..... we will be visiting Zion tomorrow.


We headed to Kanab, got fuel, checked in to the very cool Perry Lodge then went for food at Houston'sTrail End .... just before 9 pm before we fell to bed.
