A view from Jeanneb

It’s a jungle out there!

I’m afraid it is, the garden needs serious attention which we will hopefully get around to later this week, rain permitting. (Chris has just started cutting the grass)

Today it has been Pilates followed by lunch with my friend (originally from Duns as referred to on Friday’s blip). As usual  I have eaten too much, the food is such good value at the garden centre.

This is a branch from our climbing rose, Maigold,  has chosen to literally branch out over the kitchen window. It is usually our first rose to flower and grows up over the garage roof. It looks good against the clematis, Comptesse du Bouchard.
It will have to be cut back along with all those other jobs!

I’ve added a Shetland Flickr album but be warned it’s very long! The Noss Boat seabirds trip will feature in a last album later.
