The Lozarithm Lens

Templars Firs (Tuesday 11th July 2023)

I was out in Archie again today. As I get used to Buzz, my new Mini Electric, I'm looking to get Archie's bodywork and interior spruced up with a view to possibly selling it later in the year, so I got a quote from a body shop this afternoon. Then I went on to Templars Firs for a towpath walk along the Wilts and Berks, only as far as the first footbridge and then I sat and read for awhile. I found a different path back that I hadn't seen before. It took me up through some dark woodland and eventually back to the start of the walk, by which time it was raining quite hard. Most of my pictures were of the wildflowers by the towpath. There weren't any birds about apart from a moorhen and her chick and one mallard. This plant seems to be one I haven't photographed before.

Thanks to ApolloFly for hosting this week's WildFlower Week.
