Lager shandy in a Guinness glass... Not sure why The Irish Village did this - but this is how G & I like our beer - as a shandy rather than straight.

BUSY day - Dropped Fayeza off at the airport around 11:30; then paid a visit to the Party Shop nearby as G was looking for something in particular. We already knew our friend Hilde from Oman was coming so messaged to see where she was... Well. She had just landed! So back to the airport to pick her up - prior to heading to the Irish Village for lunch. Quick shop at Ikea and then Karama. A quick cup of tea at home after viewing the piece of ground where our previous building flat once stood, and then... back to the airport for 7pm to drop Hilde!!

Only a small matter of moving back to my room and getting ready for the week - G has already been called to do a day's supply teaching tomorrow. A really happy day at the end of a happy week with having my friend staying AND G didn't get a headache with her shandy. Must be the Amstel Light.
