gatekeeper butterfly

went for a walk this afternoon to 'Fir and Pond Woods' nature reserve. I was hoping for lots of butterflies to try out my repaired camera. There were some but far fewer than I've seen before there , maybe as it had turned colder and started raining intermittently.
