Not quite out-foxed

I was recording butterflies this morning along the disused railway line near here when I spotted two fox cubs sunning themselves amongst the nettles on the bank. By the time I'd changed my camera settings from macro, which I'd been using for the butterflies and flowers, both cubs had decided I was too close for comfort and scuttled into the undergrowth - no doubt where the mouth of the earth was. I decided that on my way back I would have my camera ready. Sure enough they were out again and this time one of the cubs was a little more brave, allowing me a few shots from about 10 metres before it followed its sibling to safety. A magic moment for me.
