Life through the lens...

By ValC

Buddleia and butterflies.

A warm mainly sunny day, so our decorator managed to undercoat all the windows and the front door.
Not too sure about tomorrow ‘s weather so he may have to wait until next week before he can put the top coat on.
It is looking very good even with the undercoat. So neat.

Mr C had his blood pressure checked first thing and all OK.
Then to buy the fish from Birstall Market, including some fish cakes for our decorator, as we had been telling him how good they were.
Afterwards we went to the farm shop and after lunch watched some of Le Tour.
Again nice to see them cycling through the Beaujolais region where we have been a couple of times.

The buddleia has just started flowering and this is the first butterfly, a Small Tortoiseshell, I have seen enjoying the nectar. Hopefully will see some other varieties soon.

So finger’s crossed for a fine day tomorrow.
