After the rain

We knew today was going to be a wet day.  My husband cancelled his bike ride with a friend but I managed to go to the gym for a sprint cycle class, have a coffee and chat with a friend and then go to the 'pilates' class.  Our pilates teacher is still on holiday so we had a body conditioning class instead.  This week it included using weights which I don't particularly enjoy but it's always good to do a different exercise regime for a change.

The rain has been heavy and continuous from morning until mid afternoon.  I took this shot looking over the hills from the house and if you look very closely you can just see 2 rabbits in the foreground grass.  A lot of the animals and birds appeared as the rain eased off.
