Alternative Pub Crawl

As the name suggests, we embarked on the first crawl of "all the other pubs" in Leamington Spa. Got the idea from a friend in Bath who was planning on going to every single pub in the town and have a half-pint at each. Considering Leamington is quite a bit smaller than Bath, it shouldn't take too long to hit them all.
We decided to start off with the local pubs around our block, the ones which none of us have been to.

The Cross Keys: crossover lounge-pub, but music too loud for a pub where only old men are drinking at the bar... Still a good start.

The Sozzled Sausage: really nice pub on Regent Street, with a colorful beer garden (see photo!). I always see this place looking lively on weekends, and it doesn't disappoint. Plus the passion fruit Rekorderlig cider was excellent. Fourth half-pint was on the house!

The Fox and Vivian: literally the nearest pub to our house, which none of us had set foot in. Orders mixed up meant we ended up with three and a half pints of ale for £6. That plus sitting on the chill rooftop terrace in the sun made this the best pub of the day.

After that, we intended to hit either Clarendon or Copper Pot for sunday roast, but neither was serving anymore, so we ended up in Benji's. A bit of a fail, Ah well. Better luck next time hopefully. Still an awesome way to spend a sunny afternoon overall.

peace
