Warm-booted eaters overlooked

We'd been promised sunny and warm weather for this bank holiday weekend, but Met Éireann let us down yet again. It was dull and grey and overcast and none-too-warm for most of the day, and what sun came through was feeble at best.

Maybe it was just as well, because if the weather had been good I might have been too tempted to spend time in the open air rather than make my way home reasonably early and knuckle down to some work.

After a lively lunch in Carl's (a full everything-thrown-in chicken roast dinner, more than 'lunch') and the watching of a recorded episode of Foyle's War (not one of the better ones, I thought), I stopped off for a while at the harbour in Dún Laoghaire for a bit of blipping. Despite the not-so-good weather, there were loads of people around, offering lots of blipping opportunities. It was one of those days when it was hard to decide what to choose as the shot for Blipfoto, but this sneaky one overlooking this pair eating their takeaway finally won the day.

Back home, I settled down to work and got a good bit done. Time for bed now.

BTW: I've back-blipped yesterday.
