A trip up to Lixmount to birrl the daughter to Asda at lunchtime and catch up with her chat. Something which is considerably more challenging when there are two nippers tugging at her skirts. Pension day again. How fabulously quickly they come around.
And later a meet up with P&K to see Mission: Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One. I can’t say I’m over familiar with the series but I gather it’s Tom Cruise and his close compadres thwarting various dastardly villians. And that certainly seems to be what’s happening here. And actually, despite its challenging (…sleep… weewees … concentration.. sair seats..)  2hrs 43mins it's not half bad. In fact the finale action thing is close to perfection. After Top Gun last year, Mr Cruise, we salute you. Arthouse, begone!
