The Pensioner

Haggling

After the usual early morning perusal of the papers it was off to the Leith market thing. This chap has amazingly competitively priced king scallops. As a couple had no roe, we got them thrown in for free. Yes indeed dahlings, I mean you couldn't use them at your dinner party after all, could you now? The biggest queue in the place was for coffee of course as that’s really what farmers’ markets are all about. I mean, there’s only so many people want kimchi.
Back to get the boat over to prep it for the upcoming trip and ferry the outboard down from the shed. And ferry old Pete back from his mooring. Tomorrow looks incredibly blowy; thereafter the wind is forecast to die away. I suspect we may have a little rain.
