Wimbledon, Finally!

The last two weeks have been spent watching the Tennis at Wimbledon. Congratulations to all winners.

Pat was very pleased with the results. I just enjoy the games. The poor weather in our area is a great encouragement to staying indoors.

The extra is a historical shot of the Dining Room of Hill of Tarvit taken by me before Covid. Quite a change in the presentation of the room.

The Dining Chairs are all Apprentice Pieces based on a design by Thomas Chippendale. Each chair is slightly different. All are of the finest workmanship.

The table is set for dinner.

Strangely enough, I did attend a dinner party in this room in 1977. Letham Drama Group won a competition for Best Performance.

The play was ‘An Inspector Calls’ by JB Priestley. I played the errant son.
