Snamh (a-rithist)

Another Monday, another late afternoon swim.  The beach is still covered in twigs but the water itself was clear, albeit a little choppy this afternoon. There were 8 of us taking a dip and with a couple more coming down later.

I was home alone earlier in the day as T had gone to Perth for an AAA (abdominal aortic aneurysm) screening - neither of us had heard of it before but it was straightforward. Results are given straight away - no problems for T.

I spent my time studying Gaelic, and also reading about learning Gaelic with dyslexia. Interestingly many of the approaches I find especially helpful  (focusing on phonics, listening to text being read whilst looking at it, listening to phrases and repeating them) are similar to those being suggested for learners with dyslexia.
