Explicit Language Alert

I happened on a new gallery in Hackney Wick this morning when I was on a ramble. It's called East Art. I ventured inside and charming Kim showed me their current exhibition - good stuff which I will revisit.

I could hear a clattering machine in the basement area downstairs. I ventured down to meet Hackney Dave - an expert screen printer. He is currently preparing a set of banners  on his screen printing press. Fascinating to watch.

He was training Kim's daughter on the printing technique. A useful graphic art skill. 

I will return for another look.
