Day at a Time

Chicory flower with marmalade hoverfly

The weather is beautiful. Warm, sunny, light breeze, blue sky. The insects are out in the garden. So many bees and hoverflies but still no butterflies to speak of. A few large whites and that's it.

Like the good grandfather he is Cameraman has taken the four year old to see Hey Duggee at the cinema.  Meanwhile I walked Flora,  made a batch of tiny scones and wandered round the garden. I have a long list of jobs to do but I find myself outside whenever I think about them. Procrastination I know.

Must do better.
