Rudbeckia

A popular long flowering garden plant with many varieties some of which are called Black Eyed Susan.

It was named by Linnaeus in honor of his friend and fellow botanist Olaf Rudbeck who worked at Sweden’s Uppsala University. A  place I have been lucky to have visited.
