Pine Cone

I really like the intense green colour of the cones on this Scots Pine tree.

Spotted on my walk this morning..I walk past it fairly regularly and I haven’t taken much notice of the cones, but today one was just catching a little sunlight. I did have to hold the branch still as it was waving around wildly in the wind.
