Beautiful Damoiselle

No rain today and not working so hubby and I set off for a longer walk to the coast. Passed a burn where these are known to fly and there were half a dozen in flight. This is not a common damselfly so nice to see and photograph. This one looks like a female as it's a bit more metallic green than the male. Lots of butterflies about too, Speckled woods, Cabbage white and Peacocks. I liked the extra because somehow I thought it had atmosphere.
Back now and making chicken and chorizo rice for dinner as KK brought home some Chorizo sausage from the butcher, a new line for them.
