Astrantia with bonking beetles

I kid you not that is what they do and that is what they are called.
Lovely light this morning as I sat on the front step with my tea so I photographed what I saw. Larger view in extras.
Spent the rest of the day travelling to Glasgow for an eye appointment, all went smoothly and a plan has been made. Just happened to drop into Decathlon on the way past too and an inflatable canoe fell in our trolley. The big one we have is too heavy now so we shall sell it.
