Sitting on a bench on the South Bank is always enormously entertaining but this occasion was people-watching gold. The lads were in a school group and something caught their eyes - turned out that one of their number had sneaked away from the teacher and found some steps down to the water where he proceeded to feed his sarnies to some very grateful young gulls. His mates were captivated!
As a mono this scene struck me as being almost timeless - slightly modify the sports clothes and it could be from the end of the last century.
I was on my way to see a photography exhibition at Tate Modern of which more tomorrow.

Well, two out of three by-election wins isn’t bad but it beggars belief that people in Johnson’s constituency still voted Tory. Anything to hate on Sadiq I guess.

Happy weekend all! Thanks so much for this week’s stars and hearts, as always I’m slowly catching up with all you diligent blippers - it really is wonderful seeing what you’ve been up to.
