Sole Inhabitant

The narrow lane to the holiday cottage has had its hedge trimmed, not two days after I last reported, but this lone crocosmia has survived the blades.

The colour has not been reproduced very well by my camera.  It's strange behaviour and I'll see if the Internet can help me resolve it.  It's probably my fault.
