Valley Walk

We opted for a more gentle day and at a lower level today. We walked along the valley to this lovely hut - Bodenalpe - where we had some lunch. It's 400 year old farm house and was charming.

It was also another good day for flora and insects. Although we'd seen plenty of butterflies including the amazing swallowtail, this was the first time I'd managed to photograph one. It's grizzly skipper! What a fantastic name for a butterfly.

It was another sunny day with much lower temperatures but we did have to contend with high humidity...... phew!

The rain started just as we were waiting for the bus back to Lech. I'd say that was a well timed walk.
