Wound up in Wexford

Workshop progress

W had been feeling frustrated, as progress was slow in getting his workshop sorted.  So this wet weekend has been an ideal opportunity to make big strides.

Yesterday I helped him get the OSB backing up on the wall, and now he has his French cleat system up - seen in the background in its previous home here..

This room (behind the garage) seems to have been originally used as a dog kennel.  Then it was used as a workshop by the previous occupants for his jewellery working - though without much effort to make if more comfortable.   We had it insulated, and have painted the walls and ceiling - the ceiling painting is probably responsible for my gluteal spasms.  In Norfolk, we were just insulating W's workshop shed in 2020, 7 years after moving in!

There's still much sorting to do, but many tools are now readily accessible.  He has also finished laying the flooring (bought from Halfords when they were running a special) - he can't put any in the doorway as the floor rises up at this point, and there isn't the clearance.  And hung his clamp storage rack behind the door.

Meanwhile, I've been playing in my sewing room.
