Still Life with Olive Oil

What a full day we’ve had! First, an early walk by the ocean, then an ambitious and wonderful matinee of a local theater production of The Hunchback of Notre Dame, followed by an excellent dinner at a new Italian restaurant. I’m not up to writing a review of the musical, but there was an amazing amount of talent on that stage and we enjoyed it immensely. I’m not up to writing a restaurant review either—what I really am is ready to get into my jammies. I did spend a lot of time gawking at that lovely spot of green light on that thick white bowl, so that’s the image of the day.
