Treva

Following on from yesterday's story of a turkey hen called Treva who has been laying an egg a day for her grateful owner, I decided that I had to call in and get a photo of the confused gender turkey called Treva. She has the kind of face that only a mother turkey could love. She is no oil painting. Her owner, Tracy, informed me that Treva has survived the fox twice, but was probably traumatised by seeing all her chicken and bantam friends slaughtered one by one. She now believes herself to be a chicken and roams the garden with her chicken friends. This could be a ploy to avoid being involved in the celebrations in 5 months time. Never underestimate a turkey.
