Painted Lady

When you haven’t got your camera, the garden is teeming with life. Bees, wasps, hover flies and butterflies everywhere. You can’t move for bugs. More critters than you can shake a stick at.
As soon as you go and get your camera and wait for them to sit still for a nanosecond, they disappear. I’ve sat here for over an hour this afternoon and this is all I have to show for it. I couldn’t be a wildlife photographer for all the tea in China.
